Babies are here!We had some English angoras that were born June 17. Looks like ICE (the momma which is all white) gave me some colored babies this time!!
Talking about wool-
For those of you who don't already know I will be speaking at the Alabama Farmers Federation in August at C&R feeds about our rabbits and how I spin the wool (I am a little nervous about the whole thing.)
Goats-Boy, they just love it when a tree goes down here. All the goats are doing well. Nothing really new going on with them right now.
Cloths line-I finally got one!! Jon wasn't crazy about having a long cloths lines so we agreed on buying a umbrella cloths line. You wouldn't believe how hard it was for me to find one of these but I finally got one.
**Yes, mom I have my cloths inside out (so they don't fade out) and upside down (you wont see those little pinch marks on my shirts..lol) Just like you told me too. :)
In the sewing room-Cornhole bags.I love to make things for the kids. So, Jon and I are making them a Cornhole game.
Here is what I did:
I bought Duck Cloth to use for the bags (because it's a heavy material that will hold up to the stress of being tossed.)
For each bag (and I did a total of 8 bags) I cut two 7X7 squares.
Sewed them up 3 whole sides and on the 4th I sewed all but a small part so I could put in my corn (I sewed the fronts together.)

Then I flipped the bags so the fronts were showing again (I just took the bottom of the bag and pulled it through the hole.) Filled them with 2 1/2 cups of corn (that second picture is of us using a pencil to help the corn down.)

Hand sewed the small opening that was still there and that was that!
I'll try to get pictures on how we do the board once we get that done as well.
