How my wonderful husband made me a hoop house for my goats (for about $100!)
He started by pounding in 2 t-post into the ground.
Then he put his wood out 84 inches apart (one for each side.) $7.90 each.
Raked out the stones.
Then he took one of the cattle panels (16 foot) and bent it. Putting it on the inside of both pieces of wood.

Then he took the fence staples (pictured above) and nailed them into the wood (with the cattle panel wire in-between them.) $5.00
He used some old metal wire to tie the fence to the t-post and to the back of our no climb fence. All pointy things go outside the fence and get cut off of course. :)
He got another panel and over lapped the first one some. Tied them together (then repeated with another panel.) $22.99 each (takes 3 panels.)
Put the tarp on top of it. $19.99 (Heavy duty 12X16 tarp at TSC. I am sure with wind this will rip after time but we can always replace them.)
Then used wire tires to tie it to the cattle panel.
He cut the extra things that stick out after you tie them.
It didn't take long to do. He made me two of them in a matter of hours. We are going to use this for temporary shelters for any new goats (yes, I have my eyes on a couple..lol..)
A dinner to talk about-

I love to share a good find when I find them. Not that long ago one of the blogs I visit posted a WONDERFUL recipe for Chicken Alfredo Sauce. I knew I had to try it (Jon loves that stuff.) I did and my whole family REALLY liked it.

Now, I have to be honest. I didn't go with the skim milk (I went with whole milk because..well that's what I have on hand but I am sure it would be just as good, and better for you with the skim milk.)
Ok, mine also had some mushrooms (thanks to Melinda suggesting it while I was cooking it. I am the only one that eats them here) and tons of pepper (because my daughter added that for me..lol..) Boy, was it GOOD. I'll be saving this recipe to make when family comes to visit.

Next weekend my sister and her husband is coming to see us. Guess who they are bring along with them. SHILOH and JEANNIE! We can't wait to see them and get back to riding (boy, with all the good food I have been making I need to ride more then ever now.)
Loom Knitting- My Hobo afghan.
I have started an afghan for my Aunt Bev. At first I thought the colors I picked was just right but I keep looking at it and thinking I am not so impressed (it should have a hobo look to it but it's not really what I was going for.) I'd hate to frog the whole project so I am going to look at it some more before I jump to do anything else with it.

Product Review- Margarator
Cost $39.99 (Wal-mart and Target carry it) but for some reason online they are charging more.
This product runs both AC and DC (so you can take it camping with you!) It makes 1 gallon of whatever you want.
Things you'll need- Ice and whatever else you want to put in this thing (I bought it for my husband for our anniversary gift because we love SLUSHIES.)
I added the WHOLE bottle of the juice.
This is what came out. Taste pretty good if you ask me.
**I read a few reviews online of this machine and it doesn't rate well. At the stores they are selling them for $39.99 (online they are running $78 and up!)
Here are the things I didn't care for:
1.) It's loud (check out video below.)
2.) The machine got pretty warm.
Other then that it made a good tasting slushie!

Next weeks review will be "Country Bobs sauce."

Bad China AGAIN- *China's milk is in some of our products too. Click here to read more about it.
