While my mother was here she made a really tasty strawberry cake with my daughter (I just made it today for the people that work for my husband too. I sure hope they enjoy it.)
What they used-
Two boxes of Strawberry Jello (the small boxes.)
Water- to make your Jello base with.
Angel food cake- which you will cut up or tear up to put in your strawberry cake.
Frozen strawberries (sliced)- These go into the base of the cake.Kool whip-To top the cake.
Some whole fresh strawberries (or frozen strawberries for the top. I used about two cups.)- to top the cake.

They made the Jello just like the boxes sad BUT with 1/2 the amount of water then what the box calls for.
Once they were done with the Jello they put it into a glass pan and added the Frozen sliced strawberries to it at once (they were sitting out a little so they weren't so frozen you couldn't get them out of the container.)They let it sit in the refrigerator for a little while~ letting it START to set but not setting 100%.
Next step was taking the angel food cake that they cut up and put into the Jello (pushing the cake down into the Jello some.)

My mom then took the Kool whip and put it on top of the cake.
Last, they took the fresh whole strawberries and set them on top of the cake. Put the whole thing back in the refrigerator and we ate it later that night for dinner!

They did a great job!
