We made mouthwash today (and not out of soap..lol)-
Of, course I could just buy it but it's fun to make things. I have read that sage helps fight gingivitis, canker sores, sore throat, and tonsillitis.

We took 2 teaspoons of fresh sage leaves and chop them up. Put them in a cup of hot water for 10 min. Strain out the leaves. That's it. How simple is that?!

You can use this as a tea for a sore throat/tonsillitis or use it as a mouth wash for gingivitis and canker sores.

Other interesting notes I have found out about sage-
You can use it as a hair rinse to add shine to DARK hair.

It dyes wool green-gray or yellow (guess that's why you don't want to use it on bleached hair..lol..) - knowing this I'd make sure I lightly brushed my teeth after using sage as a mouthwash.

It also repels some insects!

*Sorry no pictures today. We have a lot going on but I'll try to upload them later.
