Here in Alabama it's been a wonderful winter. I just love the weather.
Poor Ohio has been hit with a ton of snow. A matter of a fact we got some pictures of our home today in Marion (I'll try to upload them when my husband gets home.) We have tree limbs down every where and some on the house.

What's growing-
My little Need had a hard trip here to Alabama. She wasn't too happy about it but she is finally coming along and starting to grow some new leaves. Go little Neem Tree!

Here is what some of my tomatoes are looking like now! Not bad, yes a little leggy but that's alright. I'll plant them deeper when it's time. If, you look in the back you'll see I also got a little start from my Christmas Cactus going. I love those little plants.

Playing with potatoes and bag gardening!

I took a couple potato that had some "EYES" growing on it. Yes, these are just store bought potatoes. I know many people say a lot of them have been treated not to grow but I thought I'd at least give it a try.

Cut them up and then I let them dry for two days.
I got an old garbage bag cut some holes in it and filled it with some soil.

Then I put my potato eyes in that bag.
Then covered them with some soil. I didn't put a ton of soil on top of them just enough to see the very tips of the eyes but enough so when I watered it they'd still be covered with some soil.

Now, I'll wait and see what happens. If, those eyes keep growing I'll add some more soil or hay on it (I'd add straw but I don't have any at this time.)
