Happy birthday Jon!
I love you very much.
***DAD-

Some of the fruits and berries we tried were Red Tamarillo's, green avocado's, goji berries, Fuyu's, and a another type of persimmon fruit (not sure what type it is called but it's good!) Out of all of those I have to say I liked the Fuyu's the most. It kind of reminds me of cantaloupe.
I love you very much.
***DAD-
I made some short videos for you to show you how easy it is to make a Cheese with Kefir (AKA Kefir-Leban.) For those of you who want to learn more about Kefir I HIGHLY recommend Dom's site. That is the place that I first seen this cheese talked about.) He has tons of information on his site about kefir (history, what is it, what you can do with it, and tons more.)
Now, the reason I made this clip is because my father (Hi again dad!) doesn't surf the net much for information but he does visit my site. I wanted to show him what I have been tring to telling him over the phone (just incase he is like me and needs to see things.) Of, course everyone is welcome to watch it. I just wanted to let you all know why I kept saying Dad in the video.
The FIRST Step to do your kefir just like you do every day (separate your grains from your drink.) Then take the drink and do what I am doing in the video. Oh, I called it whey but I should have called it kefir (you know me..lol..) The whey is the stuff that will drain out of it.. It doesn't matter just watch the video and you'll see what I mean..lol

Last but not least, this is what it looks like when done draining.

Easier then you would have thought, right? Like I said in the video I enjoy it on potatos but I have also had it on crackers.

Dinner last night- Some of you know I am pretty open to trying new things. Last night was one of those nights. I bought some fruits we have never had before and cooked up some Buffalo (ground like hamburger. I made it into chili.) I have to say the Buffalo was wonderful! We will be having that again.

Goji Berries-
I know there is a lot of talk about just how good Goji berries are for you (one of the Super foods) but when they are dehydrated I have to say they taste really bad. I am thinking it's like the difference between a grape and a raisin tho. So, with that in mind I took the Berries and cut them open. Then I put them in a mason jar for 24 hours to soak (yes, I know they are dehydrated and this might not work but I thought it was worth a try.) Today I am going to get the seeds out of the fruit and then plant them and see what happens.
