Normal size bar soap and mini hand soap.

Ok, we are getting ready to go see our parents! :)

So, I wanted to make sure their mothers day gifts were something nice and something I think they will like. I notice I was short one felted soap bar so I got to working on making another one.
While I did that I seen that I had some old soap that needed to be thrown out or melted into a new bar for us. So, I figured why not just felt around them.

Hey, it wasn't that bad of an idea really. The wool that I felted seems to keep it all together. Once I got it wet and soapy some of it kind of mixed together too (I cut the extra wool off and then shaped it into a ball). So, of course I started thinking about round soap.. I think it turned out pretty cool really. I now know what I am going to do with all my odd ball left over soaps (yes, even my goat milk soap!)

Our parents got a fresh bar of course not the old stuff..lol..

I have taken some time today just to surf around. I have to tell you all about a few things I seen.

First over at Pegs and Needles she has a wonderful picture (and link) of a spool knitted beaded cuff bracelet. I also love that picture of a shaw she has in the post below that. So, romantic looking.

If, you go over to Canadian Crafter site you will see some of the pretties land around. She takes some wonderful pictures. I keep thinking I'd love to move up there. It's so pretty. Not only that it looks like this woman can cook. Sometimes when I read her blog and look at the pictures I head right to my kitchen and start looking around. Hey, it's your fault I have gained so much weight...Just joking I love your site and I love all the wonderful pictures... Oh, one more thing that is really cool over at her site. She has a hummingbird video that is just amazing!

I also stopped by http://duxallinarow.blogspot.com/ today and see a really neat looking scarf.

If, you haven't been over to Denise blog it has a whole new look to it. I love it! It's bright and fresh. Looks great.

Another blog I visited this morning is Crochet, Knitting-Looming, Macrame, Tatting! Her husband took a plant stand and made her a Kumihimo loom. I can't wait to see it and to see some of her work. I think people that take things around them and make something like this up are just amazing people.

Isela posted the other day a new free loom pattern. It's a double knit keyhole scarf pattern. We all love free patterns!

Over at Katwoman's Crafty Creations she has a booga bag that I would LOVE to make myself. Its done with needles but its enough to make me sit down and try to knit with them again. It's really a nice bag.

Brenda over at Looming Lore just posted some really neat felted Roses. I like them knitted but once she felted them it looked like they really just bloomed to me. Love them!

These next sites are not looming site but they are WONDERFUL site.

Stephanie over at Stop the Ride really passes along some great tips on how to save money. Not only that but she host a "Make it from Scratch" post weekly. I love those!

Another site I just love is hints and things. June is such a nice person and has put some time into passing along some wonderful tips for everyone.

I am so sorry to hear about Amy's goat Billy Bob. I know Amy did her best for him. She is a very good person and has a kind heart. It's hard when things like this happen. My heart goes out to them. *I can't wait to see what her new looming web site is going to look like (I loved the last one myself so I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.)

Over at 4H'er Trail Ridin' Mama she has a post where her pictures move of her horse Danny. It's really neat. She has some really nice looking horses.

If, you have never seen the Hillybilly house wife which both Trail Ridin' Mama site and Canadian Crafter have links on their sites to it. You should stop by and see it. It's great! I love the tips over there.

Ok, one more thing I seen today (one of the nice ladies from one of my yahoo boards posted it so I checked it out) I have NEVER seen this before. Now, I am not sold on this whole thing but to each their own of course. I believe it's to train race horses. It's called the Kurt Equine System. It's big and LOOKS expensive (I have no clue of the cost but I am guessing it can't be cheap just by the looks of it), if you have the money and storage space and don't want people to work your horses well... maybe this is something you'd like. Like I said, I am not sold on it but to each their own.

I did visit some more sites this morning but I just wanted to tell you about a few of these. Time is going by so fast and I have a lot of stalls to clean!
