The last few weeks on some of the looming knitting boards I have notice a lot of people talking about how to make scrunches. They even shared some great sites that had some really good pictures on how to make them. I figure since they were sharing how to do them for free that I would also do the same thing but with video (now, I am not saying there site wasn't easy enough to understand. I love their sites and the information pages on how to do them. I just love making video's and seeing how things done. So, I decided to do this one.)
There are a few of them on the Yahoo loom knitting boards under files and there are a few sites with wonderful pictures on how to do them as well. Just do a little google and you'll find them.
I love mixing colors if my yarn isn't already that way. So, I use two strands of yarn. You'll see me making a slip knot, e-wrapping, and knitting off in this first video. When I am making a ponytail holder for myself or my daughter I just look at it and see how thick I want it.

Sometimes I may do 10 rows just like the video below and other times I may do 15. It all depends on how thick the yarn is (keep in mind you'll be folding your work in half. So, look at it and if half of it is the thickness of what you'd want yours to be..well that's a good place to stop then.)

This second video shows you how you embedding something into your loom knitting (in this case it's a rubber band.) The second video also shows how to bring your work up and back on your pegs (just like doing a brim on a hat.)

Now this 3rd video shows how I crochet off (Ok, I am using my fingers a lot but it's to try to get my point across on what's happening.. Yes, I know my hands tend to get in the way a little too. Sorry!)

One more thing when you get to your last chain stitch when you are crocheting off don't forget to cut the yarn, tie it, and weave it into your work.

Keep in mind I don't get paid to do video's so yes, there are times they might not be the best. I am trying to do them better and trying to show what I am doing in different ways (this is a learning experience for myself as well.)
