Dora Renee' Wilkerson
I wanted to look back at some of the projects I knitted last year (since I deleted the old blog I'll have to just attach some pictures here.)
Some of my favorites were.......
The hay twine rugs. I still think that taking something that you are going to throw out and making into something that you really use is great. It's funny how we stumble onto things like that. I still use my rugs and they are holding up just fine.

Another one was the pot holder craft loops that I made into a rug. Boy, I just love all the colors in that one.

Oh, I just love this warm afgahn too. The best thing was that I bought the yarn from the dollor tree too. Now, it didn't save me any money because those skeins are so small and I did the afghan as a double knit. Heck, I used over 53 skeins to make it but it's so nice and warm.. Love it!

I also did this little winter outfit for my daughter last winter. This was some of the first stuff I got published into a book. I am still get a smile on my face when I think about that (Thank-you Cindy for putting into your book. It really means a lot to me.)

Then there was all the hats I did. Boy, I can't post all those pictures but here are some of my favorites. I made about 50 or more of the ponytail hats for friends, gifts, and the school (I made a bunch up for the school for when kids forget or misplace their hats.)
Santa hat which I designed myself

One of the many loomed ponytail hat's

The snowman hat and scarf set that I made my sister (by the way she is a loom knitter now too. She is even helping other people to learn how to do it now. I am so proud of her.)

I can't forget my flat top hat I made. It's like a Russin/ cowgirl hat (for less of better words to describe it.) This is one I had as a free pattern (I'll try to get it back up again sometime.)

Well there was many more projects. For now I need to get to work on 2007 projects. I have lots going on in my little head for 2007. So, I better get off this computer and get to working on them.
