I am not sure WHY people like to fly their RC planes right next to us (or most of the time right over my horses but they do.) At first I got mad because I would be riding and here would come 3 or 4 of these planes right over us. Well after a while I looked at it a little different. This is just another way to work my horses. Now days you can see what my horses think of these planes (this time it wasn't right over them but most of the time it is.)

Here is a little video of what my horses think of it. I still think the planes are neat but I still don't understand why they like to fly them all right here (I am ok with it now tho and so are my horses.)

Click here for the video of one of the planes and my horses.

I have been working this weekend. So, more post will soon be coming (I have about 3 more days of work to go.) If, you don't already know I do the water testing kits in the Spring time.

Oh, I found a WONDERFUL web site that I just had to share with all of you. It's called "Garden Harvest Organics" You'll find lots of good information on this site. Things like Critter Trouble , Garden Tips, Disease, and more! It's a wonderful site with lots of information.

I also want to send a big Thank-you out to whomever planted my "Lilly's of the Valley" for me. I wanted to take some from my parents home before they moved last year and I never got a round to it. Some one planted some for me!

I ask my husband if he did it and he says no. I asked my dad if they did it and he said no as well. I know I didn't do it but who ever did this for me, Thank-you. You really will never know how much it means to me (I have some great childhood memories and those some how bring me back to those warm spring days.) I am not sure why you wont tell me that you did this but Thank-you for doing it.

Jon cleared more land this weekend. It's looking good. We have less of those nasty trees as well. He also took the kids out on their bikes over to the school. They loved getting out and riding their bikes.

Yikes, we have an goat issue! Our little baby has a boil on her. I of course googled it and started to worry because goats can get something called Caseous Lymphadenitis.

I have to lance this nasty boil and take the stuff that's on the inside of it and get it tested. I'll let you know how that goes. I did talk with the old owners and they believe it's just a splinter that needs to be taken care of. Whatever it is, it's nasty and we will do what we can to care for this little gal (Veronica, her mother is just fine and doesn't have anything like this one her any where.)

Horse update news!

As soon as my work is done I have decided to show you all how I train a horse tricks! I'll try to do it in step by step pictures because it will take days for us to do this. I think it'll be fun to watch tho.

I am going to work with my unbroke filly named Cherokee. Which of course I am also going to work her in saddle also. It'll be too hard for me to take pictures of myself doing this so if my son is willing to help maybe you will see how far I can fly! lol..

I also received my personal invite to the "School breakfast for Voluntaries" again this year. They send it out on some of the nicest paper. It really makes you feel like they appreciate your time (believe me tho, there is nothing better then the kids. My son's class has nicknamed me "Tiger" this year. I love it but it's a little embarrassing when they start calling you Tiger and the other parents are looking at you like what did they just call you? I have started to think at least they have a name for me (instead of Corey's mom or Brianna's mom) and I have been a positive part of their year this year. It's amazing how fast they grow (I'll miss all of them over the summer.)

Well I better get back to work.

nabeel,
Hello! Those planes make those sounds. Some of them get real loud. The last couple of years we have had a group of men that loved to fly these things over my horses. Now the horses don't really pay any attention to them but at first you'd thought the sky really was falling on them..lol..
The one that really freaked them out was a helicopter. It was odd because it just kind of floats in the air (kind of neat tho too.)

If that pus filled zit thing is only the size of the zit, and not a large lump underneath also, it DOES NOT look like CL.

Betsy,
Thank-you for your e-mail too! I have been worried about the baby so much (and my kids because when I was reading about CL I was getting a little worried that they'd get it.) I have had more then one person tell me they don't think its CL (the vet does but he did not do the test.)
I am going to get her and her mother tested just to be safe.
Thanks again!

I think your horses remained quite calm over the whole matter. I've had a low flying hot air balloon go over my horses and they did not appreciate it as the hot air itself is extremely loud.

Callie,
I think that's great! I love hot air balloons. Now that's something that my horses have not seen here yet. They see a lot but not that.
I love seeing how they will react to new things. At first they get excited and then its nothing to them. I think that's great!

I came across your blog from a blog list on horses. I never thought I'd see so many great craft ideas in one place. The soap, rugs, and even videos. I bookmarked you!

Can't wait to see your methods for tricks with your horse.

You also have very pretty horses.

Did it ever occur to you that the Lord put the Lillies there to be a witness to you that He knows what brings joy and comfort to your heart and he loves you? One of the names of Jesus in the scriptures is the Lillie of the Valley! Think about that my lovely friend!
